Love a good organic Soil and homemade tea regime. Imo doing it yourself if best and fresh brewed tea makes bottled nutes look silly. Homemade cooked Soil makes bag Soil look pitiful too.when you make it yourself you make batches made for your genetics. Fine tuning everything after each run. Saving Soil after a run, reamending, cooking , then leftover tea nutes can be used in either a worm bin, compost pile, or thrown into plants or Soil bin.

I love homage soil, soil webs may look nasty but it's just healthy living Soil 20140309_043257.jpg20140306_182701.jpg20140306_182733.jpg20140306_182831.jpg20140304_182327.jpgView attachment 3017690

hope you find the help you need. Peace out

If you have seedlings ready to transplant and you haven't mixed up any soil yet, the decision is already made. It's too late to mix up a "hot" soil; it won't have time to cook/compost/mellow before you plant in it. You want a MINIMUM of a few weeks cook time, with 6-8 weeks being much better.

That said, you could still have a very successful grow using a mellower soil along with teas (alfalfa teas, kelp teas, compost teas, guano teas, etc). Then when the grow is done, save that soil and remix it into a "super soil" of some sort.

Better yet, mix up some hot soil now, and it will be ready to
go when your current crop is done.
