Vegas oddsmaker weighs in...

Remember those tax "rebate" checks?

Did you send yours back?
you know. Fiat money and national debt and all

I consider it like Monopoly. If I land on your non-mortgaged property, after I roll again, you can't collect rent. I'm not going to be nice, and just say, I'm rolling my next turn now. It's not like those rebates are free when you factor in inflation. Right now most people are experiencing stagflation because of our intrusive government not minding its fucking business with things like qualitative easing. Our New New Deal policies are really a raw deal. Even if my rebate were $100,000, mine alone would be nothing in the grand scheme. So my petty thousands do nothing and would go to the next dude instead.

Seriously, is that all you have? Libertarian doesn't mean stupid. Just because I don't agree, doesn't mean you stop playing the game. You change the rules. Parker Brothers changed the housing shortage rule that you can't convert hotels to houses for the sole purpose of preventing an opponent from building. So those converted hotels remain available for your oponents only and only those houses. They did this because of tournament play. Before that people still played and still do after.

Who could forget, remember when the democrats made a big stink about the poor not getting theirs? LMFAO Fucking stupid lefties.

The country goes to sheet while people try to get something is not just a charecteristic of any one group, congress has been doing it for years on both sides.

Which one would you suggest I start with?

Socond Treaties on government is my favorite, it is lengthy and a time consuming project to read. The final chapters - of conquest- of usurpation- of tyranny- and of dissolution are my most favored. They are all good really, if you started at the beginning instead you could get a good idea of where he is coming from. I think it's his style of writing I like, same style evident in our Declaration of independance and Constitution. Theory of Natural Law is also interesting. Here is a link to it, click on the word online and you will see an index of different writings you may find informative. http://libertyonline.hypermall.com/index.html

So would you consider yourself akin to a classic liberal?

Tell us what you believe a Libertarian is.

It's simple. Don't fuck with me, I don't fuck with you. As long as neither of our actions interferes or harms others. Such as pollution, extortion, physical force, unwilling coercion, or unwilling sexual exchanges, and such.

No matter the intentions, things done for our own good like making potentially dangerous or potentially exploitable vices illegal, or non-voluntary redistribution of goods, services, information or ideas, never works out. This can be done by government, gangs, syndicates, corporations, religions and even individuals.

This is what a libertarian means. Once you comprehend this and can ask yourself if whatever it is you want violates these conditions, you don't need to read anything else on the subject.
