Hi everybody,
I'm a new grower , and have some concerns regarding my plant's health.
My plant is at the vegetative stage and I am using a Royal Critical Automatic seed ( autoflowering) which is currently at its 9th day of life.
The relative humidity inside the growing environment is 10-15% at day and approximately 30% at night, both figures are well below the recommended conditions. I have tried several solutions which include, adding wetted sponges, towels and leaving boiled water in a bowl etc . The final was the only effective method but in a temporary and insufficient manner. The temperature is approximately at 28 Celcius degrees and I'm providing 16 hours of light daily, and watering it once per two days.
Having said this, my plant seems to have certain patches that arent completely green, and generally doesn't seem to be very turgid.
I did some research and found that the most likely reasons for this are:
a) Too low humidity, so water from the plant moves via osmosis outwards
b) The lamp is too close to the plant, possibly burning the leaves
Additionally, up to this point I haven't provided any nutrients, but I am considering to do so in the following 3-5 days.
My questions are:
a) What is your personal opinion, does the plant look healthy to you?If not why and what would be the best way to proceed now onwards
b) How can i increase relative humidity without using a humidifier?
c) Should I start providing nutrients ? What would be the benefits and dangers in doing so earlier rather than later?
d) Given that humidity cant be increased sufficiently, should I increase the water dosage?
Thank you very much for your time
