So how long you veg them for >>>????? and i sure the hell hope you feed them and got them healthy before flipping
I am sorry dude but you got to get the starving plants .... is going to make more roots mythology out of your head it really just doesn't work like that .....
You say you grow like that but you should really try to grow a plant healthy which means feeding and keep it healthy as it at the end of flower you might be shocked at the outcome here is 30 day old from seed started feeding it 30 - 10 - 10 @ 2 weeks this was grown under 18 watt sunblaster @ 30 days transplanted into 60 liter or 16 gallon pot and into veg room 1150 watts Gavita, 1150 ppm of C02 and 900 ppm of nutrients for 18 hrs then remaining under T5's for 24 hr lighting and here after 48 hrs what it looked like
So just saying roots are important but with out nutrients WTF and trust me i grow 4 - 6 - 8 pound plants here this plant is 5 feet wide and going to be 8 feet long in 300 gallons and free to grow into the earth this plant will be 4 - 7 pounder one plant
your talking about shoots again plant needs nutrients to create shoots lol i tell you that one plant is 5 feet tall 5 feet wide and training it to 8 feet long lol that one plant has 10,000 shoots lol but again its being fed organics not starving it and trust me main stalk is 5 inches thick laterals are 2 " and that is from plant having nutrients
so dude i will show you a root ball come fall
