vegging question

My plant is 8 inches tall been vegging for idk maybe three week four maybe and its looking alright but only got like 30 inch grow space should i be switching to flowering soon then ???

Your plant will stretch 2 or 3 times the height it is now (depending on strain, soil, light) so do the math, calculate how much room your lights/fan/exhaust take up, and then throw them to flower when they get the height you want.

Easy as lyin'.

Thx for the info man means alot just dont wanna flower too early and not get anything at all u know

Well, you can throw it into flower at anytime and still get something, (see 12/12 From Seed threads here at RIU) but the idea, of course, is to get more than just a bit at a time.

Well i did early on. Its my first grow so i guess didnt know if i should keep doing it

It comes back to when you want to flower. Generally, you can keep topping throughout the veg state as much as you like, provided you allow 7-12 days worth of recovery time before going to flower. At least, that's been my experience. Others may have some different thoughts.

Well thats great to know imma do it tonight when i get home again ive done it a couple of times just not over the top u kno thanks for the advice tho means alot
