ime it doesnt really make a difference, have tried both schedules and didnt really see any differences, personally i use 18/6, saves a bit on electric and still produces great results.

Cool thanks for the advised fellas. Im on 24/0 but i was just wanting to consider any benefits of switching to 18/6 if their were any but i think ill stick with the 24.

A study a few years back tested vegging periods 18/6 vs. 20/4 vs. 24/0 ... The results showed that 24/0 had the fastest growth (canopy), but 20/4 had the best root, canopy (leaves etc.) and all round healthiest development.

Yeah when i transplanted to my final pot my root system was amazing and im under 24/0 i can only imagine 20/4.
