Vent help

Hey guys, I'm in a little bit of a bind and I'm not sure what to do about ventilation. I am growing in a closet and cannot cut the walls. I am planning on cutting the door since it is hollow and easy to cut and I can cover it up easily in the future when we move out of this apartment years from now. I cannot install an inline duct fan as I do not know anything about setting up the electric stuff. I have no friends that I trust enough to help me with setting this up. My budget is only about 50 to 60 dollars and I plan on making my own carbon filter to cut down on the cost of the project. Does any know the easiest way to install about a 6'' fan and duct that I could attach the filter to so I can get the air vented out of the room? The only tools I have is a screwdriver, screws, duct tape, and a pocket knife. I am also a noob that has no experience in any of this or any of the skills needed for installing ducting.

Well you're gonna have a hell of a time cutting a 6" hole in the door with a pocket knife. Go buy a reciprocating saw.

the door is real thin and I can cut it with a pocket knife. I dont have a hammer and nails or anything to build a wooden box. Would duct taping the fan to the door work? I only got a wal mart close by so supplies are extremely limited.

Yea I can use the screwdriver and screws. I just cant get wood at wal mart lol. I have a priority mail cardboard box and a box that my boots were in so between the 2 boxes I may be able to rig up some kind of box and duct tape everything together and screw a fan into the door. I also have a stapler (forgot to mention) that I used to staple all the card board and stuff to the walls to make the closet into 2 rooms. This grow room only has 8 cfl's and I plan to grow only a few plants at a time so I dont need a big vent. I'll go back to walmart tonight and get a small fan and see what I can do. do you know where I can get carbon for the filter fairly cheap?

walmart does not have any fans since its almost winter. They only have heaters now which do me no good at all. I am planning on driving out to lowes with my wife tomorrow, we will check to see what they have for fans and possibly a carbon filter.

first thing you need to do is get some basic tools.
hammer pliers saw drill screw drivers tape measure. if you go to pawn shops you can get used tools cheap.

ok I dont know of any pawn shops nearby but I will look. I never really bought many tools because we are not allowed to make any modifications to the apartment we are in. The landlord was angry with us for hanging an aloe vera plant in the living room. I'm trying to be as stealth as possible. I use the closet because the landlord never goes in there. I want te vent on the door to look as unsuspicious as possible.
