Ventallation and Humidity

Hi to all, I have a question for all those chasing the ideal temps, humiditys, ect..

For a closet grow, we definately need ventallation to remove the heat from the closet.

We also need rather high humidity (reading throught the forum I think around 60% during veg and around 40% during flowering)

if the air in the closet is being sucked out, and replenished with new air from outside, how can we keep humidity high in the closet, I've tried bowls of water, maybe a 2% change from the 20% humidity I have in the closet.

I little metal buckets of water on the ballasts that I have for the T5's that I have (it dropped the heat of the ballast kind of like a heat sink and the water evaporated within 4-5 days so humidity is getting out but not staying in the closet.

What has anyone else accomplished with this problem, anyone ?

You might try a small humidifier, all the big stores have themThey are pretty cheap and fairly cheap to run.

Hi Canaboss, and thanks for the quick response, I did try a small humidifier that used heat to evaporate the water in the tank, it raised the humidity but alse the temp by allot so I took it out

I am running temps around 30 degrees C, with the humidifier it went up to 36-37 a little too hot I think.

The closet space is around 5 ft tall, by 4 ft wide and 4 ft deep

My humidity sits at 48 percent all day and it seems pretty ideal. I'm still in veg, but I don't see any problems. My plants seem very healthy and strong :)
