ventilation and heat control

What we need:

For ventilation we need a few fans that we can mount in our walls, preferrable with the ability to have filters... the thing is we do not have any way to power the fans unless we plug them into a wall outlet, we are not going to do any re-wiring... =rep for suggestions and links..

for maintaining temp, same thing... we are not doing any re-wiring, so we need temp control thats reliable that we can just plug in...

much thanks to all ahead of time...

Inline fans are good. I find vortex to be the best. High CFM and Lowest DB in comparison to competition. You could always plug them into a rheostat so they go on when it gets to hot and shutoff when its cold...or put them on a cheap timer on during light and off during night...

Copy that growin for gold. Thats how im rollin

but where are the links?

Are these easy to set up? remember I'm a total newbie here and I'm getting very intimidated by the technical know how these things require. thats why I need a plug in deal cuz re-wiring is just to big a job.

and the thing about these rheostats... omg... its like I need to be an electrician just to plug in some temp controls!!!

Cmon man. You don't have a fucking head on your shoulders?
I may be a noob, but its not like I don't look around before asking questions and the only thing I could come up with is fans that had to be wired, so you don't have to be an ass just cuz I asked for links...

do you talk like that to your kids?

same thing, I'm a child, lost in a forest of weed, hoping beyond hope to become a farmer, so gimme a break why dontcha?

P.s. that is a good fan though, I think that would work just dandy for my output air...

If this is already too difficult for you then maybe you shouldn't grow. You will encounter much more difficult things than plugging in a rheostat or using google during the growing process.

I would spend a little more time reading the Noob Central section or seeing how other people handle ventilation and temp issues by reading their grow journals.

Good luck though and you did forget to thank GrowingfortheGold for his help.

Sorry but I wasn't being a "smartass" at all actually.

While GrowingfortheGold gave you the most specific advice I felt I gave you the most needed advice.
It was not meant to hurt your pride or discredit you in anyway.
You should examine your own behavior before you start trash talking.

Good luck with your grow.

I learned about htgsupply through this forums search function. It was listed under best deals thread. I am trying to help and help you help yourself at the same time. Yes, I would treat my kids this way bro but I would rephrase what I said to fit there age. I would entirely say this to one of my friends...Good Luck I have a feeling you're gonna need it haha.

wiring is easty if it comes down to it... hook the black wires together... the wire wires together.. and if there are green/barecopper hook them together too

if it comes to that

i know there was a post on here somewhere about a plug in thermostat... that will save you from having to wire a rheostat... works like a plug in timer but off temp instead... simple... i dont' have a link though cause i only read about it... wasn't interested at the time

good luck.. chill out

They're just trying to clue you into the fact that this isn't an "ez-bake" type hobby. You will certainly be FAR better off in the long run if you slow down and do more reading. When you've read enough journals to spot good/bad setups before they're finished, you're ready to spend.

Example: If I were you, I would buy an oversized fan (6" - 400cfm) and I would put a temperature controlled speed controller on it. http://aeroponicsnmore.com/climate-control-ventilation-c-23_5/temp-2v-fan-speed-control-variable-idle-setpoint-p-181 It's expensive, but when the temperature gets too hot, the fan will kick up higher and automatically cool your tent.

Now, if you would have bought a small fan already ... you would have waisted your money. A small fan will probably do the job, under optimal conditions. I guarentee that the day you look in your tent and you see it's over 100 degrees, you'll wish you had the bigger fan!
