Ventilation fans during dark cycle?

My first grow is coming along nicely. I've just finished building my flower box and started 12/12. My box has 2 exhaust fans and passive intake. Do I need to run the fans during the dark half of 12/12 or can they turn off with the lights?

I have mine set to shut off 30 min after and turn on 30 min before just incase the timers are off and I keep a small fan running inside the grow area to keep air moving.

I like to run my exhaust at night to prevent extreme temperature changes and humidity.

I used to leave it off, until i saw that the humidity was getting up to about 80-90%, and the temps about 80-90f.

Which is way too high, and can cause stress and mold. So im exhausting at night now...My plants are very healthy and perky.

Do you have one of the fans sucking the air from the grow room and the other fan blowing thru the light(s)? If so, I would have the one sucking from the room always on. And the one that blows thru the lights can just be on when the lights are on, probably on the same timer.

how about in my situation where my box is outside kinda, passive intake and it can get below 0 at night. This is a cfl grow so the lights will keep the box at just the right temp during the day but i dont want to move that warm air out once the lights go out do I. I will try to keep at least a 45 degree ambient temp around the box

flip you cycle to night and see what the temps reach
