Ventilation in my new room

So I am setting up another grow, a few days ago, i created a 6x6 tent from floor to ceiling using panda paper and a zipper. I have a 1000 watt hps in there, and since I did this all really fast and wont have all of the money that i need until a week from now. I already have a really nice 2000 watt setup that i have invested greatly into, but that is at a different house that my friend and i pay for. So now for the task of setting up a room at my own house. Basically my only set back is that the room I set this up in only has one window, I'm throwing in my 6 inch inline fan attatched to my hood that will be open on one end acting as the exhaust, this way it should help cool my light, and get rid of heat in the room. I just have absolutely no idea how im going to do my intake. Should I use the same window for the intake as for the exhaust? Thoughts?

If you use the same window, run your venting from the lower part of the window to the floor of oyur tent, this will be the intake (cold air falls). Your exhaust could co out the same window, but try to space out the venting ends so that you aren't sucking warm air back in because your exhaust output is too close to your intake. 4in fan sucking in low with a 6in fan blowing out high.

Thanks for the reply, thats kind of the lines i was thinking along. I read somewhere that the intake and exhaust are supposed to be 10 feet apart, i think thats a bit excessive and feel the method you just mentioned will work.

As long as you stick to hot air rising then your intake and exhaust should be cool. Best of luck. Lemme know how it turns out
