Ventilation question on new grow space

Finally everything is ordered, most of it is here. My first grow will be Rare Dankness GTH #1 from @JBCSeeds . I have a 4x4 grow tent and a Timber Redwood VS. The grow will be a 4 12 gallon containers with a 17 gallon reservoir outside the tent. AC Infinity T6. The only thing left to order is the filter that I can pick up next month.

I am going to be growing in a building that has no hvac. Temps will be fine this grow, this summer I will probably have to get a chiller. The only thing I am not sure about is the ventilation. In order to do this, I have to build a "closet" of sorts around the tent so it is not totally obvious what is happening and this concerns me about getting enough air inside. My plan was to build a "closet/room" that would be 7' x 6'. This would give me plenty of room for the res beside the tent and give me enough room to get to the back of the tent if necessary.

Should I cut a few holes in the sides for air to get in the room I'm building? If so, how big? How many? Or will it be ok with just me opening up the door to check on things a time or two each day?

Thanks and this is a great site. I have been reading and wanting to start growing for a few years! So glad that it is all coming together.

Intake vent, twice the size of the exhaust. 6" fan, you'll need one 12" vent hole. Place a cloth or AC filter over the intake vent to prevent bugs from entering.

You can open the door and check the plants as much as you want. With care to make sure you don't upset the grow room atmosphere too much. To where it won't re-stabilize in 30 minutes.

So if I cut a 12" vent hole in one side of the "room" that will be plenty of intake for the whole deal? If so, that sounds great! Thank you

That's the math recommended. I run a 6" fan. The intake hole is covered by a 14" x14" AC vent cover. The hole itself is a little more then 12"x12".

With that size intake vent, my room size. My 6" vortex pulls negative pressure. Which is key to this.

A passive intake should be 3-4 times the area of the exhaust.

So your 6" exhaust is about 28.27 square inches x 3 = 81.81 sq inches which is roughly a 9"x9" square or 10.2" diameter hole or just three 6" holes
