Ventilation Question

I'm looking at starting a tent grow. Quick question about ventilation. I'm planning on using a 600W setup in a 4'6"x4'6"x6'6" tent. I'd like to use an air cooled reflector like the Cool Tube 6. They advertise this as a good choice for growers using CO2 so you dont remove the air in the tent, but I would want to do both. So how do you setup the filter, reflector, and hosing so that it pulls air out of the tent and ventilates the reflector? Thanks

whats up bro....ive been reading about this topic for days now....heres what i got......im gonna run the same size tent as you but get 1000w in there i gotta have more then 50 per sf...

So its Carbon scruber ducted to your lights ducted to your exaust fan out side your tent...pulling air through the scruber first so that not only will you filter the air before it gets your cool tube all dirty....it wont send hot air through the scruber either...

You need to have some type of intake though or you can create to much negitive pressure and cause your tent to fall or something crazy... You can have a passive intake (just open ports) Or a smaller fan i would say around 1/3 the size of your exaust fan and you should be good...

I have also herd that you can have a larger fan at the intake causing positive pressure in the tent....I prefer the above method because this is the best way to controll heat AND SMELL....

hope this helps..

also i found some 37 watt booster fans on ebay for 29$ free shipping...thats what i plan to intake my tent with and use a 6In fan filter combo for exaust.

If you use CO2 you don't vent the tent except occasionally to vent Humidity. You cool your light with outside air and vent outside (the tent)
