Ventilation question

I need to vent a 10 x 13.5 x 12 ft room. I am using an 8" value line fan(745 cfm). I need to put the inlet on the back wall of my shop and duct it 10' to the room and want to use it as a passive intake. Will an 8" inlet do the trick or should it be a 10" inlet since it is passive?

Hey, ur intake can should be small compared to the exhaust as negative pressure is favoured in any grow.

Thanks, I am aware that neg pressure is preferred over positive but, wouldn't I still have neg pressure with 10-12 ft of
10" "passive" duct?
