ventilation questions

i plan on getting a 1000w HPS/MH lighting system from my local hydro store and i want to have all my math worked out before i install so i thought i might as well do that befoer i buy it so a few questions came up with ventilation

currently i am unsure of my grow room dimentions at the current moment and i wont know for about 15 hours from the posted date.

since im placing a 1000w bulb in there its deff going to get warm and i know that u can have a piece of ventilation pipeing going from the inline fan to the hood of the light

i will have my fan introduce fresh air into the room 3-5 times per min and i will get a inline fan that will work for me once i know the proper dimentions but here is my dilemma you put the inline fan in the ceiling b.c heat rises nothing new there but if i have a tube going right from the inline to the light wont all the air above the light get hot? of will the vent hole that is at about mid level of the room take care of the heat issue cause its still sucking out 3-5 times per min?

i will obviously have an fresh air flowing fan close to ground level and an ocilating fan blowing on my plants please let me know your input on this all the help is better

Or will i have to have a suction point at the top of the room and the light?!?!?!?:weed::weed::weed::weed::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Check it out. You will need one intakes and one exhaust.
your intake should be large suck from a cool area
get a hood that has glass and is ventable
hook up a duck to the light run that to the exhaust point, place your fan here sucking air out of the room
hook another duct to the intake of the hood and place the end of it near the top of the room to suck off heat
through the hood which intakes from the room which intakes from a cool area
and bam there you have it!

what if i was using an umbrella style hood? what should i do in that case?
a 1000 watt light gets really hot so its worth the investment and extra ducting for an air cooled hood. also, air cooling allows you to run the 1000 much more efficiently by having the light lower.

that said, if for some reason you don;t go that way it means you'll need more ventilation for the room. no one seems to have a standard way of sizing fans but i would go with something like a 6", 440 cfm fan with a variable speed controller so you can dial down the cfm to the level you need.
