Ventilation setup design feedback

How big would the passive intake vents need to be if I didn't use an intake fan? Would it be better to use an intake fan with a DIY particle filter attached?
ur intakke hole should be the same size as ur exhaust hole. a little smaller wont hurt but try to keep them about the same size. i toss a few intakes down low so im not stuck with one giant 6 inch hole. a 4 2 inch holes was enough for me and way easier to hide and make light proof.

Okay thanks, yeah I'll just run the lights in a line with a 720 pulling through, then a separate 440 with carbon filter for exhaust. I'll try just passive intakes and see how it goes if not I'll add some intake fans.

i ran passive forever. till i had heat problems with the bigger lights. forced intake helps cool my grow room almost 10 degrees. it draws cool air from a window i have the ducting ran to.

Okay good to know! Yeah I'm not too worried about heat, but if it becomes a problem when the room is full then I'll definitely add a 440 intake. I also have two 4 inch 70 CFM fan I could use to connect the two rooms.
