Ventilation Spores

Good Day RIU!

It seems as though every one of my yields had some sort of mold, mildew, or mites on my buds- and its hurting my overall yields. I use a ventilation system, and I believe spores (mold, mildew) is coming through the vent. I'm thinking about putting a HEPA filter for my intake, but I know I'll lose a tremendous amount of power. I just don't know how much... any ideas?

Happy Wednesday!

The hepa filters that connect to intakes are in-efficient and only 90% effective at removings particles. They also lose effectiveness as they are washed as over time the membrane used stretches.

My suggestion would be a "Dust Shroom" which removes all particles down to .1 micron and has ZERO CFM restriction on your system. Also, they only need washing and re-oiling every 1-3 months to last for 5+ years. UNI, a reputable company makes the dust shroom, And include a 5 year warranty as well.

I started out with inline hepa filters years back now, I wish I would have had dust shrooms much sooner. I own two shrooms right now one on a cab intake and one for a drying box intake, I never have issues with dust or mold.
