Just doing my first room that needs ventilations. I don't need anything super crazy. its a small space 12ft2.

Im not sure where to buy my in-line fan, bay or other online shops seems like the only option but prices are up there.

Can you go to buy this from a store?

are there in-line fan shops somewhere but i just cant find them?

any help will be wicked guys, thanks

Your room is 12ft2 we need the cubic dimensions

H x W x L = VOLUME

Depends where you are in the world for supplies, if you are in the USA then i hear HTG is really good.

If you are in the UK then Greensea Hydroponics are a reasonably priced store with great fast Discreet shipping.

Come back with your Dimensions and then i will help you further with your setup.

There are other things that come into play when designing a grow room such as the lights, the ambient temps and humidity, access to loft spaces etc etc.

Come back with the dimensions as i say and we can get something designed for WHATEVER your budget may be.

2x3.5x3 = 21 its a small cabinet grow
two plants side by side under two 42 cfls with a medium size reflector for each bulb/plant, for the first 3-4 weeks of flowering then moved over to a 150 hps to finishing flowering. two knew plants will then be placed under the cfls. I will have one small 6 inch fan pointing at the hps light at all time and then another 6 inch fan with a 45 degree swing, moving air around for the plants.

I have built a passive light safe intake hole which is about 4 inches thick. I need a fan that will suck fresh air in through that and push the hot air out, I was thinking a 4 inch inline fan with a 200 cfm would work great. something that when my first set starts to smell I could pop a carbon filter on and have no stress about slowing that air movement down.

or maybe if you think its possible get the two cfls out and place in another 150 hps.. its a very small space and i think that might get a little bit hot

type in "Hydroponics" and your city in google and you should have no troubles finding a hydro shop in canada. its like finding steak in texas.

Your area would be perfect for a 4" Inline fan. i reccomend the Valuline's from CAP. They perform and their like half the price of vortex's. If your not worried about the smell, I wouldnt invest in a carbon filter.

I was aiming for a 4" I was thinking there must be somewhere to buy a fan not from a hydroponics shop.. I feel the prices are way to high for what they are.

i have a very similar setup. my cabinet is 2x3x1.5=9 cubic feet. I run a 150 watt hps with a built in ballast. For ventilation i use a S&P td-100 mixed flow fan attached to a can filter 2600. For you i would upgrade to the S&P td-150 this would compensate for your extra cubic feet you have. "the cfm and static pressure of these 2 products are a match for each other"

here is a link if you would like to see pictures of my setup
