Ventiliation question for a 3x3x6 tent. ++rep

So i know my CFM requirements are not high for this tent so i have decided to pick up a 100cfm w/ filter to vent out and cool my 400w Mh/HPS tube reflector.

The question is that there are exhaust holes all around the tent (mainly for duct tubing) i know i wouldn't need to use all of them. see the picture below. There is one also (not visible in the picture) on the roof of the tent.

Now here is what i was thinking.

Roof Vent.

Tent=====>Carbon filter=====>Light=====>100cfm Fan=====>exhausted outside tent into room w/ ionizers and an open window

Upper side vents

Not sure how to incorporate them

Bottom side vents

Not sure how to incorporate them

I appreciate any and all feedback and anything thats useful I always give +rep.. I have a feeling however that my idea isn't efficient as to some i've seen i just can't seen to hunt down those posts.

yeah that order is right. make sure surface area of filter is big enough not to diminish cfm

just open the other vents for passive intake, at least the bottom ones, just close off the rest if heat is not an issue.
Should i put some sort of filter on the passive intakes so no undesirables get into the tent and would you have any suggestions on what to use for that.

Your CFM deppends on how much air you want to exchange, and I know you know that but what I would do is get a 400 CFM fan and a cheap dampner dial. You can pick them up for cheap around $10 and that way if it gets hot you can turn up your fan and if it gets cold or you are fighting to pull air through your carbon filter you can you can turn up or down your fan. I picked my 400 cfm fan off ebay for $100 shipped. I have been running my fan for about 8 months 24/7 and hasn't given me a problem at all. I cool a space that is 4X3X7 with a 1000w HPS, and I have to get cool air in there alot of times because it gets hot in there. In my veg room I have a 600w open hood and a 400cfm fan in there also and it keeps it perfect. But I don't pull through a filter so I imagine that will decrease your CFM.
