I am fixxing to mess around with some rubbermaids and tra a semi stealth grow. I have a 3" and a 6" cpu fan. I wanted to know which fan should I have bringing in air and which fan should be exspending air? Also the two rubbermaids will be stacked and I wanted to know if I should have the fan bringin in air at the bottom and the air going out at the top?

yes air in at the bottom and air out at the top use the six at the bottom cool oustside air will push out the hot air near the bubls at the top

I am currently using this system I have a 120mm pc fan for exhaust and a passive intake. the exhaust goes on the top because the heat rises the passive or intake fan would be on the opposite side on the bottom. I just use a regular house fan to blow air in i have it in a dark room so light leaks aren't a big deal because the room is light proof. Good luck hope that helps.
oh and to achieve negative pressure i would put the big fan on the exhaust side. also I made the mistake of making a 4 1/2 inch hole which makes it hard to do a light trap i used a 4 inch corex T fitting and 5 minute epoxy it is far from stealth after that so thats why i made a light proof room.

if you were to do air out at the bottom you would not be ehausting the warmest air in the box out. as heat does rise also what type of light are you using and how many?

right now I am using a single 26w cfl on a single seedling. It hasnt sprouted yet. It's been under light about 5 min now. I say 2-3 days it should sprout. No germ just straight planted. I will be using 6x 42w for flowering

unless you Are completely air tight you will be bringing in air as you ecaust you cabinet so iwould use the 6 on top to remove the heat and place any odor removing items with it. you will do just fine using the 4 to move the air around inthe cabinet

what is the color temp of the bulb and do you plan on getting more light for veg?because eventually that 1 26w isnt going to be enough
oh also a color temp of 6500k is best for veg as far as cfl lights go and for flower use 2700k with a couple 6500k's mixed in

well I am glad I was able to help. if I were you I would start simple and see how it goes. you can always add or take away as needed. the trick I think is not to over think and just the seed growing. once it is growing you and always make adjustments

I will add more to the 26w when needed. Right now there is no need for more then the 26w. I have 5000k for veg and 2700k for flower. 6x 42w for flowering should be enough for flowering a single plant. its over 13000 lumens. THanks for all of the help everyone.
