venting a room? without destroying?!

hi just curious when setting up a whole grow room and wanting to use the whole room how would i be able to vent out air and bring in new air without making giant holes in my walls or such stuff which hare hard to replace, opening a window wouldn't be ideal as smell escaping would be an issue, any ideas? thanks

you need to bring clean, preferably cool, air in from somewhere and blow the warm air elsewhere. cutting vents into a door is easy and relatively cheap to repair/replace afterward. as for smell that can be eliminated by using a carbon filter. if ur living on the top floor and have a loft space above your room cutting a hole in the ceiling is also a good area to vent the warm air, the warm air is rising anyway. if you do that then all you need to do is open a window or cut a hole in the door and put a vent cover on it, that disguises the hole to any casual observation. if you have a lot of lights on then the chances are that passive intake wont be enough and you'll have to rig up a fan to pump more cool air in.

your best bet is to buy a tent. then when you set your light up you will want to buy an air cooled hood and a water chiller. the air escaping will be cold which will chill the ambient room temp. you have to get a tent. and you will have to get a water chiller and a water cooler for you hood. i am in the same exact boat. renting sucks ass!! i can not wait to own my own home, hopefully. there is also a second scenario for you. but i do not think you are completely thinking it clearly. you can exhaust hot air into your a/c ducting. you will have to cram a ton if insulation in there but it would work. you just need a bunch of fans. your exhaust essentially sucks or pushes the heat off the light.

Use the existing windows and make cutouts out of plywood with 6 or 8" flanges to attach your ducting to. Or get a big enough a/c that you don't have to vent your room. Just scrub the air with a filter and you are good.

Well we are all taking stabs it the dark. We don't have enough facts.
I don't own a scrubber, I use 2 oz of Lemongrass oil in 1 gallon of water in the grow room, it does work. Replace about once a month, or when you can't smell it any more.
The rest of it we need some more facts. Size of room and what your putting in the room like lights.

Tents work great for controlling your environment. Or open your windows sometimes and use bad ass AC. Or use a tent WITH open windows AND bad ass AC for maximum ventilation penetration.

Anyway, ventilation's important.
