do you think I should have a direct line from the intake, through the light, out through the blower. OR should i leave one side of the lamp un-ducted so that it suckes air through the whole grow room (im worried that if I do it this way my light will get too hot)?

One side unducted so you can pull air out.I dont think it will get too hot.Thats how i run mine.

I went ahead and popped for the carbon filter/in-line fan ( great deal BTW http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=52531 ) so instead of sucking in air directly from the light, Im gonna hook that to some ducting then to the filter. I have a little question tho. Since I have to get the in-line filter (cause thats what came with the deal) does an in-line fan have ports on both side of the main unit so that I can connect ducting to it. Im sure it does but im not sure...haha
