Has anyone had any luck with these type of grows? For those who are confused, a vertical grow from what i take it, is using your light without the reflector to get more light out of your grow..Anyone have any input on this?? I am thinking of growing a number of autoflowers this time under one 600w lamp and need to make the best of it. I was thinking of using no reflector and surrounding my plants with mylar, including the ceiling..anyone think its a good idea and will work?? ANY input would be great....
Thanks....

i have done a couple vert grows but removeing your reflector does not give you more light it allows more light to escape the reflector reflects the light back down.. so when takin it off your allow more light/lumens to escape..if you ga a bunch of plants that are like 6-7ft tall you can take some lights and vert. the center in between the plants.. but just straight growin vert over you plant you will be wastein light if you take your reflecter off.........:peace:

Um, actually you loose a lot of light with a hood, yea the light does bounce off the reflector but you lose a lot of it. And when you grow vertical you place your bigger lights in the middle of 2 of 3 plants and ten you get 100% light usage. If your using a sealed vented hood your loosing like 50% of your light. SOME of the lights wavelength gets changed when it passed though the glass not to mention gets absorbed. Vertical is the shit.

thats what i was sayin if he took the hood off he needed to put his lights in between his plants not just directly over them..
