Vertical flowering time

Putting clones straight to flowering , how long will it take?

Of course this depends on strain , but lets say i have critical mass clones vegged for a week or two and then straight to flowering on eco system style vertical drip system. Is it reasonable to expect 2-2and half months to be enough? My situation is really special. Space is not the problem but the limitation on power.

If its power consumption, I have read a thread on 12/12 from seed/ clone.
That will lower your consumption and start showing sex as soon as the plant can.

I am going to try on my next go round!

I have 3500w of power to use but thats the limit , i cant go past it because of grid and my situation. Im putting 3000w to room 1 24/7 for month or two , then when the 12/12 comes , i had the idea that i could clone the room 1 and throw the clones into room 2 straight to flowering in vertical setup. Taking full advantage of the 12 hours of full power that is left when room 1 is having the dark period.

Problem is though , when the room 1 finishes flowering after two months, im left with room 2 if the plants take much more than that to finish themselfs. And when the room 1 is back on vegging , it will take power 24/7 and i cant run the second room anymore Complicated but thats my limitations and so im wondering if vertical could give me some more weed

Some dude said he cuts at day 70 , from seed and straight 12/12.


So if thats true i might be able to come up with something on 2 and half month time frame. Its a no brainer though that this way is not as effective. But in my case everything extra is welcome

If space ain't an issue, 2 flower rooms. run them opposite each other and ya never need to use more than 2k at any 1 time (plus veg light). veg ya first set of plants until the size you want, take cuttings and put main plants into flower. you now have 4-5 weeks to root and veg ya cuttings ready to go into flower room 2. Same deal, take cuttings of next gen ready 4-5 weeks later to go into flower room 1 when they finish. I have the same set up and lovin the monthly yield.
