Vertical Growth in Flowering

Question for other CFL growers, my AK47 was put into flowering on day 9 of vegetation (Day 15 from sprout) when it was just under 5 inches high. I'm now on day 17 of flowering and the plant is still growing vertically. It's now 20 inches high; it has quadrupled in size so far into flowering.

When is it going to stop vertical growth? I'm tired of raising my lights every day and waking up to burnt leaves because it grows so high in the dark period.

Idk man, I am new to growing but I am pretty sure that the plant will grow like 3-4 times bigger then it was at the start of flowering depending on how early you started it.

He is right. Tie the branches down. Take it easy when you are doing this. Be sure to use loose knots and don't bend too much at once. Drill small holes in the rim of your bucket and put in some small eye hooks. Don't use any material that will cut into your plant either.

I'm not going to LST until the plant starts to bud so I don't have to re-tie everyday as the plant continues to grow. My question is; how much longer can I expect vertical growth. A plant under CFLs should not be allowed to grow beyond 20 inches in height and thats the reason it's only allowed to veg for a week or so. I'm already at 20 inches and when I got up this morning there was more vertical growth! Maybe the AK47 is a genetic anomaly that refuses to be dwarfed?

i dont know i think i read somewhere the it get like 8 times its size in flowering stage? bout 95% sure
