i thought so, but somewhere it seems that i heard something about something when hanging them vertical.
good to know. i want to run digital ballasts so i will be using MH for vegging.

Be sure you purchase a universal or vertical bulb and find a way to suspend your mogul. They do make one that looks like a junction box with a mogul coming out the bottom and two 90* sheet metal parts to hang it from with a standard light hood hanger. I have a few, I'll take a picture tomorrow for ya.
the mogul in my sun systems hood has a hook to hang it vertical with. i always stared at it thinking "why would you hang a hood sideways". if i just took it out of the hood..... lol.

hey FDD, heathrobinson has a flooded tube vertical grow going, i seen the socket your looking for in his pix, just like he is describing, looks like a gem box with a bracket on it
