Very Bushy Plants

growing under 6-68watt (=to 300watt)2700k 4200 lumens per bulb 4-4 foot 40 watt cool white and 4- 4foot wide spectrum 40 watt florescent tubs my plants are really thick an bushy will it hurt to trim leaves to help light penetrate plant they are in 2net week of vegging in dirt in closet ??????????????????? :eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

the plant will send food to where it is needed, imo i would just tie leaves gently out of the way but if you do decide to cut them choose wisely and only the ones that need to be cut

A picture is helpful, Many say not to trim but if you post a picture some may have a better alternative for you rather than trimming.

nothing wrong with trimming. Especiall udnerneath to allow more air flow to go up and udner and up your plants. So trim the underneath stuff. You can trim some leaves in the middle also to allow more light down it. Tucking leaves works great also. Just remember you are cutting away energy when you trim leaves.
