Looks like plants that were flowering, reverting back to vedge to me.... Did you grow these plants from flowering clones by any chance... Sorry if you said that, I just looked at the pics and responded. It's late.......... Anyway, at least they are green, could be worse

My plant went all deformed from too many nutes. I tried flushing it (2 weeks ago) it didn't change a thing. It's growing quicker than the rest though. I really don't know what to do either.

Thanks for the info everyone!

I believe we have it down to combination of reverting back from a flowering female clone, and too many micronutrients.

Hey wouldnot, Your lettuce leaves look similar to my leaves in the first pics. I flushed the soil and it seemed to help a bit. Otherwise they may make a good salad :weed:.

Here are some update pics and now i have an additional question.

Here is my setup

The plants are definitely growing now

This plant is doing especially well, it even has some new 5 leafers coming in.

This plant is the smallest but it has recently formed new outward vigerous growth.

So, my next question is: When should i begin the flowering cycle??
Strain - White widow
Tent is 2'8" x 2'8" x 5'3". Plant pots sit about 11" high and plants are currently about 1' tall.

Your advice is appreciated!

Thanks wouldnot. The setup has surely evolved since its birth. I started out with an open setup, but the light... dont look into the light!!! It makes you super parenoid.
Lostcoastlocal - I thought they were a bit young still? I was even thinking giving them another 2 weeks!?! And scrogging - i am going to have to do some more research...

Any additional advice? suggestions? scrogging info?

So you are running a cool tube. Minus that and your plants and bucket sizes, that leaves you with 3 vertical feet. They will at least double if not triple there size by full bloom. If you want to do a lot of manipulation then let them grow. but they will be way bigger in two weeks and you don't want to have to worry about them having safe distance from the light..... Up to you. Looks clean though

Lostcoastlocal - Ok, i think i will go ahead and put them into flowering in the next day or so then. I thought they tripple in size meaning volume, not height. I think i will try scrogging as well. Is this correct - I put fencing over the tops of the plants, induce flowering, and train buds to grow through the fencing, which gives the buds more light by holding the leaves back? Also, i have a new problem.. of course. I have an ordor-sok and in the last couple days my plants have started to reak. The odor-sok is not working... Does anybody have experience with a can carbon filter? I cant imagine how strong these white widow plants will smell once they are put into flowering.:-|

I think you've hit the nail on the head there - this happened to me too. Check out this thread. I wasn't 100% what the problems were at first, I'd all but given up, all my grapefruit strains dies as they had gone too far. I kept the Jacks as an experience for trying to nurse them. One came back to life pretty well early on and I have included it in my grow. Four others were growing one bladed leaves as you mention for quite a while but new growth has now gone to 5 bladed leaves again. I think I am going to put this next to my hydro grow in coco medium or something. They're mostly Sativa the Jack's so do look a bit leggy but I don't think they're looking too bad. Check them out in my journal.
I think the best thing to do is nurse them and see what happens but don't rely on them, try sort out some new cuttings or seeds mean time.

Scrog is not for holding your leaves back. It's for training your canopy to be all at one level so you can manipulate the budsites to open areas and light dispersion is more evenly balanced. Your plants get strong and go off when you make them flex a little muscle. So tie them over bend them and move them around. You can make 1 plant cover a huge amount of area with proper manipulation. You will love all the colas you see , instead of one main top. Keep in mind, this is all my opinion. Be it tried and tested and proven, by myself and many others, it is still just one method of growing, so some will agree and some will not. It's great learning new ideas though ain't it. You'll be a great grower, keep it up!
