Very Leafy buds? What to do?

So I am having a problem with one plants, the buds and stems are becoming very bushy and leafy, to the point that it is blocking a lock of the bud sites from strong light. Do I leave them be and they will work themselves out or do I trim some of the bulk off?

I'd leave it, and throw some CFL's down in the middle of all that.

what kind of lights are you running? and how far along are these plants like week 4 or 5?

Leave them. Those leaves are growing from the base of buds so they're the best light absorber for each bud. Just tuck when possible.

dont trim, the leaves are what create the energy..not the buds themselves.

the buds will swell as your plant progresses. right now it looks 3 weeks into flower.

tuck the leaves underneath the bud sites before you go all the way and cut them off

I would trim the lower leaves if they look yellow, weak or if they are restricting airflow. If they aren't creating a problematic situation then keep them all. I agree with most everyone else.

I was thinking of assisting 2 1000w'ers with some cfls, do the 100w (500w equiv) 6500k get hot or could I let leaves come within 2-3 inches of them?
