Very Quick question about pot size.

Whats up RIU, Im trying to plan out the format of my grow.

4x8 veg tent

10x13 flower room.

Ill be vegging approx 8 weeks from clone (max allotted time, I may end up backing off the veg time depending on plant size and yield).

Living soil, 3 weeks in Solo cups, then into 1 gallons for the remaining 5 weeks of veg.

4x Gavita 1650e's, Bottled Co2, perfect climate, etc.

16 plants per light.

My goal is 2oz per plant.

My question is, would you transplant into 2 or 3 gallon going into flower?

Do you think I could get away with one gallon pots all the way through?

Thanks in advance!

I think you might have to reduce the veg time bit if you are going for sog in 1 gal, 8w eeks sounds like a bit
Right thats Kinda what Im thinking, but if i have the room then I want to use every inch. 3 per light would be pretty fucking cool.

8 weeks veg from clone and 16 plants per light are very rarely in the same sentence. Not sure its doable to be honest, your gonna need one very big light lol

Guys around here are going from rooted clone straight into flower and pulling 3-4 lbs off a 4x8 tray. Every 2 months they harvest, veg time from clone is just chewing up valuable time and crops per year imo. Go straight to flower every 2 months. Plant counts would be the only reason i would go the long veg route. Even then, not sure 16 plants per light will ever work on a long veg from clone.

@Renfro would be a guy to ask about this stuff, hes running a couple big Hps rooms and from Clone mostly. He grows fkn trees and im not sure hes vegging from clone for 8 weeks. He is pulling 40-50 lbs every few months tho lol

Best of luck with whatever you decide, start a journal, i for one would love to see your room in action.

These big ones are what an 8 week veg looks like. They’re 2 weeks into 12/12 today, about 6’ tall, and in coco 7 gallon smart pots stacked on 15 gallon smart pots. 1 gallon pots under no circumstance would work unless you had them staked down and had a 24/7 top feed. They fit 1-1.5 plant per 1k 908ECA13-1C8F-4952-8B53-FF47326479FC.jpeg
