Getting ready to select the best plants to use for outdoor NC mountains!! Growing season is only 4 months...but could start inside a month earlier.

Any suggestions of a true tested variety that is best suited for this climate??

Thanks for any help!

Are you growing for medicinal use, and if so what are your needs? Are you growing for recreational use? If so what do you like? Do you prefer a clear soaring head high of a sativa, do you prefer a predominantly head high but with a little indica stone in it? Do you prefer something that's roughly 50% sativa and 50% indica? Do you prefer something that is mostly an indica stone but with just a slight bit of sativa head high? Do you prefer a 100% indica stone?

You can follow this link and find information on 3336 strains, what they are, sativa, sativa/indica hybrids, indicas, the breeders general flowering time, approximate yields, what lineage a cross came from and sometimes growers reports saying if a strain is a light feeder, heavy feeder, tolerant to conditional changes, more or less susceptible to types of insects, if prone to mold or less likely to mold, what phenotypes you might see and how long each one took to flower and what the odor, flavor and high or stone is like.

Consider a hoop house or a greenhouse. If you live in the mountains, chances are you will fight mold at the end of the season!
