Villain Presents: Jack Herer and Lightspeed (Texada Timewarp X Northern Lights)

yro. It's Jordy the fucking Villain. Haven't been around in a bit (been doing real world stuff.. you guys know how it is.) wattup to fdd2blk, mogie, gnome.. i see you guys. anyway like I said, I've been in the real world. and whats the real world without some good ol Jack Herer from femenized seed and my private stable's new strain Lightspeed ([Texada Timewarp X Northern Lights] X Texada Timewarp) .. here we go at day 58.. these babies are coming down next friday =] I'm almost done flushing and will finish the flush in the dark for the last 3 days or so. uh here we go

very nice!!! Did you say you flush for the last three days in complete darkness? Do you also do the 24 hrs dark before switching to the flowering cycle?

yep i give them a little instant-autumn before harvest. a lot of people claim that it hasn't been proved to enhance the bud to give them 48 hours of dark before harvest but I've found hat not only does it not hurt, but i've seen plants look 20% more resinated after the two days. But really, I decided it was a good move when my timer broke and my plants got extra dark by mistake and looked significantly chunkier than they had before the light went out.im a believer

thanks for stopping by my journal earlier, i was wondering with you growing staivas as well do you just let them grow normally? (no topping fimming) and if so when you are ready to harvest to top buds are the bottom ones really end worth it at that point being so far way from the light. i was wandering on u thoughts on SCROG, think so for my next go

i usually top them but often one top will get bigger.. sometimes like 40% bigger haha. depends on how i space stuff though. but as far as the bottom buds, that room is mylar lined as you see so we get dope penetration on the bottom. our absolute dinkiest stalks on the bottoms will all pretty much have a 3 grams of dried bud. though they're small they're mostly really well developed and look like mini versions of the higher buds.. not younger versions.. if that makes sense? (also the stalks are a little stretched on the lightspeed because we let it veg longer to cut clones for a pal)

about scrog though, I'm toying with a design using chicken wire that would weave nodes over and under a line everytime they grow 3-4 inches. it makes vegging a longer process but the end result would be a cola at every point you bent the plant over the wire. when you switch to flowering there should be a nice screen of equal sized colas... thats the plan anyway. it needs to be hydro to be time efficient though. This lightspeed grow was my lkast soil grow for a while btw.. im switching to a hydro design ive also been toying with for a while

i have personally done a scrog before, i weaved them as hight permitted. but i have come find out that you just run the main stalk underneath and feed through the secondary and terciary growth... ..i will be start one of these with some blueberry X 99 in January the yield should doimnted this one.l it is just fund growing a strain that is just a local only a few older heads know about any more

but with the scrog the bud sides did then for most on they wire platform bu they would reach up to lights and you would have to bend them back down through the srceen and it just become a jungle worse then one i just had

word? I'd liek top to try it sometime soon. Im more down for my pvc pipe vertical grow idea.. il tell u about that via Pm sometime. its the shit.
