Hello Long time grower with hps mh Looking into led lights. I'm researching diy led lighting but also came across this product. Wanted to know if anyone have any experience with them that can shed some light on it. Also any advice on building my own light setup to replace my 600w hps mh light

They dont have a great reputation, but they will grow weed if you have enough wattage.
They dont beat HPS so IMO its not an upgrade.

If you want something great for about as reasonable price as possible try
https://www.omegalight.net/

If you want something super but a bit more expensive try
https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/
or
http://timbergrowlights.com/

^ All USA companies ^

If in the UK try
https://www.diyleduk.co.uk/

If you want to build your own check out
http://ledgardener.com/
Have a look at his strip build designs.

To replace 600w HPS your looking about 400-450w.
Or go for 600w and get higher yields.

Cheap LEDs are a bit pointless if your already used to HPS. But quality efficient LEDs really kick ass.

:bigjoint:

Edit, go check out the LED section.

I'm a new grower so my advice may not be best. But my first couple grows with Viparspectra lights kind of let me down especially as a new grower.

I just ordered a samsung strip LED, that's your best bet is a good cob, qb or samsung strips if you really want to see some potential.

I know they are some good blurple LEDs out there, but they cost money. Viparspectra is good for a veg light in my opinion.

/edit: also what @coreywebster said, check out omegalight.net that's where I just ordered my 300w samsung strip from a few days ago, honestly you won't find a better high quality light for the price. Also ask @nfhiggs about any questions about strip leds, he's a very helpful person.

Will be using my viparspectra as a veg light now.

thanks to corey i just ordered the 200w from omega.gonna be a great veggin addition....there 900w looks lovely.

Got my 300w in the mail yesterday. Plants are loving it! Although the light runs pretty hot so just beware... I knew it would run warm but it’s hotter than I expected, as long as you have good ventilation you’ll be fine. I don’t have the greatest air flow since I haven’t installed a carbon filter/exhaust kit.

Some photos of my new set up. So nice being able to take pictures in my flower tent with a white light! No more blurple or flash...
