Hi there!
This is my first time growing. I didn't have any knowledge going into it. It was more of a little experiment I wanted to try. I know I probably don't have the best lighting or set up, but I'm doing the best with the amount of money I have. I don't want to put too much money into it my first time, you know? I've learnt a lot from this site though.
They are planted in Schultz potting soil plus with probably close to 50% perlite mixed in. I lined the walls with aluminum foil to add reflection of the lights. I make sure I let the soil dry out almost completely before I water them again. I have them on a 18/6 light schedule right now and I know they are all females because I got them as clones from a nice mother plant. As for lights I have one long tube like light that is Sun Blaster brand. A friend gave it to me without a package so I don't know how many lumens it gives off. I also have 2 Daylight 6500K CFL lights, each putting out 1450 lumens.
I got them as clones, with only 2 or 3 leafs on them on Feb 28th, so they are only about 5 weeks old :/
I'm just wondering if they are looking good, and if there is anything you would suggest I do?
Also, while moving them to a new home today (bigger closet) I managed to rip one of the leaves on the plant!!!
I'm wondering if I should cut it off, or leave it? (And if I should cut it, where should I cut it because there are new baby leaves starting on that branch)
Also, I'm considering forcing them into flower soon because I know they usually double in size and the little closet I have them in won't be big enough if I let them veg for much longer.
Any tips, tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
The leaves aren't as yellow as they look in the pictures, they aren't yellow at all. They look very healthy in person. (As much as my limited knowledge tells me)
