virgin grower

so i'm growing a single plant in soil under 6 two foot grow tubes. it's on a 18/6 light schedule and i'm feeding about every three days. i'm moving the lights up every other day about an inch or so up. it smells so good already and is bushing well. but i'm freakin out about the whole male/female thing. she, well i hope it's a she, is healthy, deep green and doin well. i have seen pics and such to show the difrence between male and female, but when should i start to see signs and is there anything i can do to encourage female growth? oh yeah my baby is about 5 weeks old and about 16-18 inches tall.

1 of mine showed while in the same stage of veg that you are in, and the other 2 showed in the 1st week of flower. Indica showed first, 2 sativas after. Hope this helps.

should i let her flower at five weeks? thought i should keep her on a 18/6 till she got bigger.

you can flower at any time at this point...

i uploaded a pic of her. she is about 12-13" tall right now.

I would give it a little more veg time.... but that's me

i've changed the light timer to a 12/12 schedule. figure i'll flower it and see if it's a boy or a girl. if it's a girl than i will clone. if it's a boy well then i didn't waste a few months. although it's still fun to watch it grow up either way.
