The plant will grow itself, if you don't kill it with kindness. Just go easy on nutrients and keep the bugs off and you'll do fine.

Keep it simple. I'd urge an organic dirt grow.

Don't overwater.

Good advice all.

CO2 is unnecessary in a small grow that is tended daily. There's a nice product for grows that do need it, but aren't all that big. It's a bag you open and set in your grow. Safe and simple.

Ok so here is where we are at

Before you all kill me and tell me i spent way to much money. i have so physical limitations and cant do alot of drilling or hammering or shit. i bought a plug and play hydroponics kit. it is the mini mortage lifter. it a a grow tent in a box and yes i spent way too much on it. But not smart enough to build it. It is a 4x4 foot print with one 400 watt metal halide light. I am in cali and have a script. i really appreciate everyone advise. Once again i am growing 7 plant fem from attitude of Prima reserva head band kush. hoping to get maybe 3 plant to crop. What would u guess on a yield to be on a full sized plant in grams. oh and the tent is 7ft tall. One love

Everyone has a different "full size plant" in their mind, i have seen plants that are 6' tall that only pulled about 2-3 ozs, i grow mine to 3' tall and pull more like 3 per, packed tight though. Some grow plants that are just cola buds that are 1 oz or so, but pack far more in. I have only seen the soil mortgage lifter, could you provide a link and we will do our best to point in the right direction(s).

yeah let me find the link. so only 3 oz per plant. i thought it was like a 9 or more per. i am going to need more plants. Haha

So seriously the question is how many plant do you crop and what is the yield

I chop 2-3 plants about every 3 weeks. I keep 12 in bud all the time, and just rotate in from the veg room. When I started out I got about 2 oz per plant. I have improved this to over 3, sometimes close to 4. I'm sure I can do even better, I have not done a great deal of LST yet.

I do not comment on numbers, but out of a 1000 watt light and a 8 bulb t5 i pulled down 2 lbs last round, in a ghetto set up. I have seen someone pull like 3lbs out of a 4x4 under a single 1000 watt, what i am working on. I have also seen guys flower mother plants and pull close to a pound off of one tree. This will go up as you get things dialed in. Don't expect a lot your first round, maybe an oz a plant, but as you get better you can pull much more.

so what do you think of the ez-clone? I seen one on s website for about $250 and may get it. My kit get here tomorrow and i am so excited to get it up and running. one love

If you are a first time cloner i would really look into just doing it the old fashioned way, get some rapid rooters in a tray and a humidity dome. Get some quality rooting gel and just cut, dip, stick into the rooters. Then keep the humidity dome on, keep about a 1/4 of water in the bottom of the tray, and spray the dome (not the plants) about 4x a day. Should have roots within 2 weeks. These are easier to deal with than bare root clones that can be an issue transplanting. Then you can put the rapid rooter in a rockwool if you want, i just use the rapid rooter with some hydrotron to help keep light out of the res. This is much more price effective, and a better way to learn IMO, kind of like starting them in soil vs. hydro.
Thats funny you get your shipment tomorrow, my hood is supposed to be here tomorrow, then i can finally work on sealing things up.

Good luck dude. I can tell you things will go wrong. lol I am very new and just started to grow. My seedlings are between 11-17 days old. I ph locked them already. Luckily I caught it quick. My ph meter was off apparently by 1.3 so I kept adjusting my ph to 5.8 and my ph was actually running at 4.5. Not good! So check your meters and all that regularly to make sure everything is working properly:) Wish I had more advice...

Did you get your hood? My kit was not here today i am praying for tomorrow the waiting it killing me. I can only imagine how i will be watching these babies grow. Tell me about your set up what are you sealing up

I wanna see pics of the kit. Be aware that regulating ambient temps, res temps, PH, PPMs, uninterupted photoperiods, and the multitude of other problems to watch for in a hydro set are way more complicated than putting together a DIY hydro setup. I bought a hydro kit for 100 bucks and when i got home and put it together I was like wtf? I wasted 100 bucks! The rest of my plants now go in to good ole 5 gallon bubbler buckets 1 air pump each as many as i can squeeze under my lights. 4x4 for 400 watts 8x8 for 1000 watts. Put a few in the room wait a couple weeks put a few more in rinse repeat till its full when you harvest the first the next aren't far behind.

No it is still the same day for me, still tomorrow, no confirmation that its in town yet, but doesn't say its late either.
OK you asked about the set up i will give you a general run down, i am currently upgrading everything. I run swc, shallow water culture, well a form of it, i am thinking i may market it so i am going to keep the details minimal, but swc that runs about .75 gallons of water per plant, keeps water and nute usage down. I am currently adding a veg room, and sealing both rooms (together) and adding CO2. Things in my state are changing and rumors are around of hemp farming, if so would ruin all other types of grows besides sealed.

I am running a hydro setup. I have the ebb and grow system with 12 pots. I am doing a grow journal. You can check it out if you wanna see pics of my nute locked babies:( They are starting to look better though:) I am growing Wonder, White Widow, Bubblicious, NL auto, and some bagseed.
