Vegetative growth is the initial stage of a young plant's life. In this stage the plant uses chlorophyll as well as sun-light and nutrients to grow larger. Mainly taller though. But this stage builds a strong foundation for the bud that will grow soon. This stage is survived by the plants exposure to more than 20 hours of light a day. This stage is flexible as you can continue the growth in veg for as long as desired to assure a success full flower and harvest.
Flowering Is the plants second stage of growth, and most important. As this stage changes a regular plant with no effects, into the most sacred and mystical of herbs. In this stage the plant will no longer use plant nutrients for vegetative growth, but rather focus this energy into the bud cluster areas on branches as well as the top kola. There will be minimal vertical growth, but the plant will grow wider, and thicker as it turns into a fat, bud hoarding, green-monster. This is all thanks to the switch in light cycles between a continuous exposure, to a cycle with a dark period (standard is 12-12)
Hope this was educational, as well as entertaining as the methods of writing between this and my last post are hilarious.
