I have an 80mm fan I think, that is blowing on it. I can touch the bulb and only feels warm after several moments.
Guess the forum screwed up. Wasn't originally talk about the dogs on here. Oh well.
Bent that sativa over and paperclipped into place. My Walmart doesn't have the old metal style paperclips, some weird plastic design instead.
Also my light baffle prototype is done, will try it tonight

My light baffle prototype for intake, it's big and bulky and got left in the rain. Held together by non waterproof glue, oops. Part of it fell off so can't mount it.
And when lights came on after a full day of dark extra the side branches on the tall sativa were extending a good bit.

Hey Voidling what's going on man. Word has it that santa has been seen down your way, keep your eye out for the next day or two. Looks like your plants are about ready to get potted up huh, even just a little will help a lot. Hoping that they are females!

I think the honey containers are a little bigger. Need more coco coir so trying to find best place to get my supplies. Coco and hydroton are expensive to ship.
Light baffle allows unrestricted air flow but blocks light from shining out of the cab or outside light to ruin flower cycle.
I love the symbol of the eye and that one is a stylized eye sort of

I'm checking mail daily. Some of my bday mail hasn't arrived, seems to be running a little late. Santa is going to be good to me this year.
Hopefully female but I have 0 expectations for these plants. Have 3 seeds starting in 12/12 was hoping to do the coffee can rdwc with but didn't get the parts

Ps heavy and bulky were negatives of what I have. Next ones wont stick out so far and hopefully weigh less

Having major issues uploading an attachment

So is one of my plants. They're all getting fed the same nutes in the same way. Got lazy and attempted to bottom feed them all at once in a container. Putting in a quarter inch of nutes every two days or when it got low. Apparently that's not good for this.

Hey Voidling how's it going. So I'm guessing you germed the Romulans? It's a good indica, easy to grow and should be wonderful for pain. And to answer your question ...no I do not mind if you make seeds with my gear...more power to you brother and thanks for asking.

Indeed I did. 5 seeds in a cup of water for 12 hours or so until all sank. Then put them in wet paper towels until tap root then put them in coco. 24 hours after putting first 5 in water I put 5 more in a fresh cup of water and did the same. Just finished putting the second group in coco
One plant has broken the surface so far. Cfl right above it with a fan blowing on it.
I took 3 of the bagseed plants out. The smallest one got downpotted, it has such small roots. Still no idea why they won't show sex. Through them in a dark cabinet for curiosity sake
Thanks HC. If I have to make a trip I wont have anyone to look after my plants. Also not positive about growing through summer with the heat :/ I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

So you are making beans Void with this grow? I hate growing indoor in the summer, its a bitch to keep it cool without shelling out serious money for A/C....
@Highlanders cave, what is your gear made up of? I just started crossing and I love making beans. I got a bunch of different crosses I am working right now. I am new to this so bare with me if I get lost a little....LOL

Yes I plan to make seeds but not breeding/crossing strains. Not even selective breeding. Romulon is one of the lines that has been so line bred that they nearly all come out the same from what I've read. I just want to make more seeds just in case something ever happens I don't lose good genetics.
You should check out HC's thread. He has some beautiful plants. Kaboom motherfucker was the first red I'd ever seen, only one still.
I've come to realize I don't have room for too many plants in my cab not with keeping mothers. I think a shelf 7 in from top for rooting shelf. Just not sure how to cheaply light it since cfl is too big around

So last night I was looking at getting pl-l lights for my mother clone side and figured it'll be around $100.
I got to thinking I could get a low Watt HPS for half my flower side for around that price. I would remove 4 of the pl-l and one of the two ballast to run in mother clone room. Rooted clones would then be transferred to the pl-l side of flower cab and each week get moved one step to the left until they're under the hps.
What do y'all think?
Would a 100 or 150 w be good for half the flower side?
Vertical or horizontal hanging?
Cheapest place to get? I've seen diy kits for $50 on ballasts.
Should use less power, more light and hopefully not any hotter in the cab

Hey there Voidling how's it going. I'm thinking that you don't need as much light as you think. Heat will become an issue too even with good venting. Mothers and clones do not need much lighting, roooting clones do fine with ambient lighting. Vegging plants don't need that much either especially if your in no rush. A couple few of the 24 watt cfls. Blue spectrum for veg and the yellow (soft) for flowers. Stoney use to use cfls and grew friggen awesome buds with good weight, ask him about it. Do you have a hydrogemeter in there for temps and humidity? All I use for veg is cfls. Course there is about 16 of them running and anywhere from 40 to 60 plants vegging at different stages at a time lol

Get a remote ballast!!! Also, if your gonna go with 100, make it 150......If you can find one a 250w would be great too! I'm using a 175w MH in a 2x1 space, bare bulbed vert and my temps stay around 80. I have one Honeywell fan blowing about 2 ft away from it, and about 200w of CFL. I've your getting a hood and everything, a 250w Would be stupid easy to cool imo. I just grabbed a 4-5" fan from walmart for $6 and threw it in my cooltube on my 400w and it's been doing fine. Pushes out the nasty hot air so the bulb doesn't stay ridiculous hot. I used to have a page book marked with a $75 175w, I'll see if i can find it for you.
