Can someone thats done this before tell me if I calculated this right I'm pretty sure it's proofed but it's been a couple years since I've done any algebra Snapchat-93089954.jpgSnapchat-2124654266.jpgSnapchat-1062648196.jpg
Ps. RH is 62 temp 25 c, leaf temp I estimated 2 degrees cooler (no IR gun yet) so 23 c.

I've been growing weed long before wifi was around........or personal computers and cell phones for that matter. Lol.
My point is that it's bennificial to learn these things the "Hard" way. You probably had to calculate things and adjust environmental factors individually.where as now we have the internet and automated systems . But it's still useful learning things the old school way . Never know what could happen . This goes further than growing too.

Personally I've never even looked at a vpd chart. I could care less. if it's hot need more humidity if it's dry need more humidity if it's cold need heat. Vpd complete

It's the only real way to really learn by doing. A graph with numbers doesn't talk and express itself like a living plant does.

People start out at the wrong end by looking at graphs when they have a plant that's already showing all the expressions to tell them how to dial in nutrition and what optimal leaf transpiration should look like?

Don't get me wrong vpd is beneficial, but there's a line where I say 'is it worth it?'. There's no need for me to try to dial in specific numbers for heat and humidity. It's hard for me to get warm enough in winter as it is so I just have to tinker and dinker to get my temps warm enough as it is. Plus it's drier than a nuns cunt in my house during winter so there's even more bs. I have it the best way I can get it without spending a ton of money running heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or turning my house temp up, which also costs a lot of money.
But that's just me and my specific circumstance. I've grown for so long that now it's more about saving money and growing the best weed the cheapest way possible. Weeds gone so cheap around here, it's almost not worth it to grow anymore. The only reason I do is because I know my weeds better. Well and it's fun as hell.

Dude stop. It is not going to work.
If you think math is fun you are part of a small group that others think is weird.
I know, I stopped trying to convert people years ago.
Curious. If you listen to techno or most EDM do you understand or at least hear the math in the music? The rising and falling cadence of a sine wave or a progressive reduction in percussion or tonals adding complexity to the equation of the mathematical music?
If you do then you really like math and understand it's connection with most aspects of life.

Now quick what is the highest 5 digit prime number.......

Yes I love music in general and have a good understanding and experience producing it .and working with it classic and modern. And no I will not stop . I'm not trying to convert anyone .so don't expect me to change to peoples likings either. I love math and science and learning more. I don't expect people to understand why I do things the way I do them. I just simply wanted to find other like minded individuals even if it's a smaller number of people that some may consider weird . Your very right about math being heavily connected to everything.and although I might not have a massive yield from doing things the "hard way". I most certainly might learn something new and have a set of valueble tools at the end of the day . I understand I'm one of few that genuinely like to deep dive . But I'm ok with that lol . If I weren't at work or learning something new I'd just be sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing. So I enjoy the pass time and higher understanding that deep diving brings me.

I’m only replying now cause Damn why even ask a question (make thread) honestly if u just want yes man or argue with no reason or logic, that’s not a discussion. I went to find ya a guide and chart with calculator to help ya and bam I saw many people do this for u and u obviously Don’t wanna learn and just want an answer if ur math is right? Put ur temps and rh and see what the tool tells ya or even look at graph . Simple if what temps what’s rh it needs to be for proper vpd.

My original post was asking if I did the math right. I appreciate the reply's but I've already used VPD charts. I'm trying to respectfully explain that I wanted to dive further and understand if I could do the math myself. I personally don't see where I'm being ignorant. I'm passionate about learning . Not trying to ignore people. But simply understand if I'm doing the math right myself. I might be posting in the wrong area and my bad for that. But yeah I wasnt looking for charts I was looking for someone that's done the same math to tell me if I've got it worked out properly. But excuse me for trying .
