Tutankhamon finally gets to produce.

Hello All,
So I have this thing about MJ. Jeez, since HS in '73 I have been a devotee. How cool is it that, at least some of us, can "openly" grow our own now. I just have to call that "Progress" and for once it is not a bad thing.

I live in W. Wash St and have been dabbling in MJ horticulture for a couple years. My efforts always seemed to be on a stop gap nature and although I created great buds it was not too very efficient. At first I just used seed from NL; un-sexed, feminized and autoflower all got a shot. I bought ready mixed soil and thencame to make my own. Hydroponics seemed too good to miss out on and I tried it last crop. Results were mixed but overall encouraging.

Life has it's demands though and this time I need to produce a solid crop. Therefore I am returning to soil-less this time around. Botanicare products remain to be used and the space is clean and ready.

week 3

light -16 hrs/day 8am - midnight
nutes - CNS17 Grow soil-less advanced formula
10+ gal/day

This grow I am trying a few somewhat different trim/pruning styles in order to follow those styles first hand.
The rows(from L to R) are pruned as follows.

row 1 bottom 6 nodes trimmed.
row 2 FIM
row 3 topped
row 4 more aggressive side branch pruning - goal = less popcorn, more cola
of the two "double" clones, one was topped and the other FIM'ed ... the PlatGSC was topped and tp'd to a 3gal container

Week 4 start bloom stage

midweek 3 nights into the 12/12 cycle ... ~3" stretch so far ... local weather shifts have me keeping a close eye on things - latest has been 15+ temp drops at night (rigged a small ceramic heater & reverse thermostat) ... I'll probably put a controller in before long, we'll see what I can turn up :? ...

Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the garden is the time spent sitting with the garden. There's a stereo - FM :peace: CD , herb tray:bigjoint: and sometimes the oil rigbongsmilie and a cup of coffee in the AM or juice in the PM and it all combines to make the world go away for a bit.:eyesmoke:
The added CO2 is a bonus too.
