photo period is a fancy term for amount of light and amount of darkness the plant receives. i keep my babies on an 18/6 photo period schedule for vegetative growth. 18 hours of light, 6 hours of no light. then when the time comes to flower i change the photo period to 12/12. thats 12 hours of light 12 hours of no light.
