Wal-Mart is a pain...always crowded. I stand in line longer than it takes me to shop...and I
don't save money when I shop there, I end up with things in my basket I wouldn't have gotten at the local store and wouldn't likely miss if I hadn't gotten them.... and pretty much guaranteed to have come from China.

So I spend more time, spend more money and don't like the way they treat their employees or the way they have pushed out smaller stores.

To top it off, seems like every time I have gone there, I end up with a new "basket dent" on my car.....even as far away as I have to park because it's always so crowded!

Not the place for me.

Yes, I do agree with the register point....

Where I am, Wal-Mart doesn't get crazy busy like it might in certain centers (except on holidays).....but even then I often see long lines, and barely any registers open.

its been 3 or so years since i read the study that gave me the info i posted. i doubt i could re find it.

but as far as so what to them paying less, expecting more, fireing ill and disabled people for stupid reasons, just to deny them any medical insurances, or continued insurance when their employee are say, diagnosed with terminal cancer. which they have done and gotten away with.
they treat their employees like a commodity. no different thant the piece of shit chinesse crap they sell... and you say so what? REALLY?.... I hope you NEVER become a business owner, you ll be more of the problem than the solution.

now im not saying their managers need to make 200,000 a yr. but someing over poverty (to be a 55 hr a week manager) shouldnt be too fucking much to expect. even Mc Donalds pays their manages 25 to 35k a yr for fucks sake.
I was saying so-what to the fact that they work for less money, I wasn't saying so what to the fact that they get treated like sh*t. Please, try to comprehend the statement before creating your own opinion in return, thank you. I have worked at Walmart myself, I know firsthand how they treat the employees - & it isn't good. It's not even remotely good... but like I said, IT HAPPENS WITH ALL BILLIONAIRE COMPANIES. Your an idiot to tell me not to become a business owner, two reasons why - one, I am a business owner, two, any successful business runs the same way Walmart does. How can you tell someone NOT TO follow Walmarts ways of doing it or you'll fail? How stupid does that sound considering the fact that your basically telling me, don't follow a BILLIONAIRE COMPANIES ways because you'll fail. Umm... there is a reason they are as powerful & known as they are, because they're doing it RIGHT from a BUSINESS standpoint rather than moral standpoint. Sometimes, a business mentality can get you rich over a moral mentality, actually in most big businesses, lack of morals is evident. So the statement of hoping I am never a b/o is now mute, because it makes no sense...

"Don't follow Bill Gates ways of running a business, or you'll fail!" <---Lmao, might as well of told me that.

As for you not having a source to your material, that sucks because I was truly interested to read it. But just like you did my post, you probably misunderstood or comprehended it wrong. I highly doubt Walmart can advertise a product as a brand when it is in fact NOT that brand. They bought the rights to the FOTL logo, that doesn't mean they bought the rights to trick people into buying fake FOTL items produced in China, that is illegal. They probably bought the rights for the reason I said already, so they can use a KNOCK OFF brand of underwear & put a caption on the packaging reading, "Made like FOTL" with the logo of FOTL. But I could be wrong, they might be running some illegal operation scam that nobody knows or cares about apparently. Just don't see how they haven't been caught, if you know about it, that means it isn't to secretive.

That's just my 2-cents, or 3... or dollar...

I shop at Walmart because I work for my money and need it to go as far as possible. When checking out I simply walk past all the lineups at the first 12 or so registers and all the way to the end of the cashier line and low and behold there is always a lane open with a little old lady for a cashier that hasn't seen a customer in 4 month's because everyone is too fuckin lazy to walk down to the end......Try it sometime it works. Oh and yes its full of 1 and 2 star people but hey if we were all alike this world would be pretty fucking boring.

Aha, I know exactly what your talking about... that lane is always open, but people are getting smarter over here & starting to go for it. We have the 'self-checkouts' now, so I mean, you get to scan your own items, it doesn't get any faster than that, those lanes are always open.

Cool thanks for the input peoples. I understand they're alot cheaper and some of you need to save money. There's just going to be a time when you need something and Walmart doesn't offer it and no one else is left standing to get it for you.

Walmart sucks. My little town took them head-on and won. They even threatened to build a Super Walmart just over the township limits. They didn't do it, at least not yet and it's been a few years.

Walmart will even tell their suppliers what country they want them to have their product made or they will stop using them. Think-China.

Plus, Walmart is not the cheapest. My local stores beat Walmart most of the time. I prefer a store where when I ask a question about a product they actually know the product and how it works. I hate to say it, but it does seem that Walmart hires the lowest common denominator.

Though, when I'm old I'd like to be a greeter. lol.

Read up on Rubbermaid and Valassic (the pickle people) and how doing business with Walmart drove them to bankruptcy.

vlasic makes shitty pickles anyway. a lot of the mass produced pickles are shit. they sell real fermented pickles at some stores under the name "bubbies" or other brands that are less well known. those vlassic pickles aren't even healthy, they contain hfcs and artificial colors and flavors. pretty nasty. a pickle should be good quality and have beneficial bacteria. otherwise i don't bother buying them. i am picky about my pickles haha

maybe they went out of business for selling shitty pickles

only scum and losers shop at walmart, everytime i go there i see more failures and ignorant, predominantly white trash, uneducated life zombies waiting to buy food and sludge theyre way back to their 1991 toyota minivan and back to their meaningless, boring life....but theyre cheap so i buy hygeine products their, like deodrant and a humidifier for my grow room....although they seem like they literally scrape the bottom of the shit barrel when looking for employees, if u can breathe ur qualified to work there...
