Wanna-be grower looking for seed advice

Hello guys,

I never done any growing before, not even a potato :D However I think I can manage with help of you guys.

Firstly, of course I'm in selection of the seed and where to buy, I believe nirvanashop is a cool place to buy it and I'm hearing nice comments but of course it will depend on the type of seed that you advice.

Anyway, i'm looking for sativa, i'm going to grow indoor, I want energetic and a social, creative high that I can use in my daily routine. I was in bahamas before and I loved its weed. Maybe you know a seed close to this. In nirvanashop I'm in between AK-48, Hawaii maui waui, royal flush. Of course when I checked the forum, I saw the C-99 legend going on but despite all my efforts to find it I couldn't anywhere.

Moreover, I also look for a weed which is little strong and I can sit in my couch get relaxed and enjoy a game or a movie. But no stone, no couchlock or physical highness.

Your help will be much appreciated.

herbis headshop have alook on there... as for seed type depends on the kinda high you like (if you like a smashed and cant get off the sofa kinda high then you want an indica or indica dom. if you like heady uplifting high then you want a sativa or sativa dom)
try not to scrimp on seed generally the more you pay the better the genetics mate..
as its your 1st time id recomend you get feminized that way your 99.9% gonna get a female plant and thats what ya want

good luck

...learn your chops with free bagseed, if you've never grown anything before than it is almost certain you will fail your first time out, ...i personally popped 30 beans my first time out and managed to kill them all within a couple weeks.

...and maybe give enough of a shit to do some of your own homework instead of looking for someone to hold your hand.

I tend to agree, start with bag seeds first before spending good money and take the chance of losing it at the end, look into Single Seed Centre, I like the fact that you can buy any quantity from 1 to as many as you like, I just bought AK48's, haven't grown it yet but it might be what you're looking for.

with the price of seeds i agree... I'd start with one or two bag seeds , read a lot , check out all of the stickies if you can bring them to full term then think about branching out

Yep, bagseed ... especially since you have no gardening skills to begin with. They are free and plentiful and sometimes can grow some pretty good shit! GL with whatever you decide.

I haven't bought any in over 2 years that had any seeds so for me buying seeds is the only way to go
...why not pick up a sack of middies so you can get some beans to play with? ...or maybe ask some of your friends, i have several friends who don't know i grow and they still buy mids and some even already have a collection of seeds.

...like i said, i killed my first 30 beans and that would have really sucked if i'd had to pay even $30.00 per 10 pack which is the price of cheap seeds, good seeds can cost a hundred and more for a 10 pack.

...here is a link to Greenman's seedbank review site so you can find a reputable seedbank at least.

Im new myself and have my first grow in progress :) Yep you guessed it bagseed. I honestly did not know you could get seeds online and just how many strains there where or even what indica or sativa meant when I first thought about growing. After like 5 months now researching learning talking to the folks here on RIU I think I am just now becoming a true noobie :) I have 4 more major steps left and they should be happening here soon, thats harvest, trim, hang, cure If I mess up any of these the past months of growing will be for knowledge and nothing else. Plan on spending at least $300 bucks to start, you will invest probably another $50-$200 more by the end. I think I have everything I need to finish up, but I bet you I dont. In reality you should just spend the money on a HPS/MH set up a minimum of 300 watts as this is efficient for 1-2 plants, or a 300 watt LED panel. CFL's work pretty decent from the looks of my grow and all, but they really have their disadvantages, they do get hot and can make your grow room get hot if its a small area without ventilation, and they can and will burn your plants since they need to be so close your plant in veg will grow its happy ass right up and into your lights. Invest in good soil and nutrients it will most likely help you out to have the right application in front of your eyes. The right amount of the smaller 23 watt cfl's really make it tough to get up into your plants and see whats going on as they get in the way. Sorry for rambling on you just need to think about how much is involved, once you are growing and they get their 2nd and 3rd rd node you will never forget it and never want to stop. Their is a lot of steps a bunch of styles and much to learn along they way. Hope this can help you in some sort of way :)

I fully disagree. My first time I put in all the research and effort and pulled stellar bud, with no internet and no friends to help. It is all up to you.

Starting with bag seed will only discourage you when you get mediocre results. Just do your research and do not over think it.

I've had a lot of people try to tell me whats up, and when I see their setup up, or final product, I never again respond seriously to their post, so just be careful who's advice you follow OP. It could really help you out, or it could really hold you back.

I mean why not spend and whooping extra $25 on a throw away pack of nirvana or some other cheap $20ish strain?

Go for the gold and believe in yourself. Trust me when I say it really is not that hard, a common sense kind of things.

I was in the same page also, the kits that nirvanashop offers looks very helpful for the first growers.

Thanks for your replies guys ! .

I see that first-time growing part took more attention. I'm looking for seed recommendation also guys, one energetic social high sativa and a one which can make me more focused and enjoy my movie and gaming times. Of course taking attention that I'm a first timer. Royal flush and sterling haze, I was planning. What you think ?

Remember if you do want a sativa that your going to need a hybrid unless you have a tall grow area...pure sativas(which you sound like you want) can grow pretty tall. Just a heads up  Good luck and don't listen to anyone who says you'll fail first time out, just make sure you know what your doing before you start. Don't let excitement cause you to start unprepared. Love your ladies and treat them well and you'll get back what you put In.

Bonanza seeds carry the c99, make sure you harvest her early as the description says too. Its a pure sativa engineered to mature early. Can't wait to grow it!
