Well, a lot of RIU'ers have put up with my trials and lengthy spiels over the months, so it's only fair to throw a party for you all in appreciation. So, put on your funny hat and grab your sword made of folded newspaper, and lets make a trim club..

Okay, first I need a beer and a blast off some quick-dried bud I snitched off this plant... (man, this shit tastes great even green..)

Here's Ms Cola from bagseed; 10wks post 12/12; 9wks flowering... trichs are about 60/35/5 cloudy/clear/amber..

Man...need to get some damn light in this house.. my HPS is the only fixture worth a shit in this whole place..

Okay... gettin' this ball rolling. I've got a manicurist's scissors.. this thing is awesome for trimming. You can really get in there and snip precisely. Go down to WallyWorld and get yourself one for this work...

I'm separating coarse fan leaves from anything that has trichs on it. I've got basic 10X and 16X hand lenses hanging around my neck.. if anything is in question, I scan it. Got trichs? In the hash pan you go...

Shoulda put something in the close-ups for perspective.. those lower buds are about 3" long.. yummy.

Gettin' into the tough stuff here; harder to see the leaf stem joints. And there's a fair bit of leafage hiding on the backside of the buds against the mainstem. No biggee for outer appearances, but I want to get as much airflow as I can around a tight cola like this..

Whew... this is real work. Everything is sticky, sticky, sticky... your fingers def get tired. My guitar-playing muscles sure come in handy on this...

Just flamed the scissors and smoked the "hash" off of it.. oh God and baby Jesus!!

But hey, we're there!! Man, this is satisfying. My wife just got home and just flipped over this beauty. If she's happy, I'm happy...

One cola down, four more to go.. gonna be a big weekend, folks.

It's been hell being a Newb..not knowing what I'm doing, things going great then I do something really stupid to interrupt it...waiting waiting waiting for trichs to turn.. arrrghhh! But oh soo sooo worth it...

Krieg's mate that is a top grow for your 1st time round.. What did it taste like ??? i know you said it was bagseed or mystery as we say in Aus, but you sure did a good job.

Thanks, bro...it's been a helluva ride. The smoke tastes like grapefruit going in, and superskunk going out; awesome. You should know all about this, being located in a fruit bowl and such..

male grooming kits are the shit for weed. They have those huge clippers for those tough stems, nice scissors to cut the leaves, and a nail file! to file your nails while your waiting 2 months for weed!

No doubt .. those things really get up in there. Leaves you with a beautiful product. This is my first trim ever; I'm pretty happy with how its turning out..

Some of the best trim clippers can be found at Walmart or Lowe's. They are made by Fiskar. Small blades about 2" in length and designed for precise work.
