Want to go dwc but not sure

Go for it then-

Like I said, it's fun, but can be frustrating... Especially if you don't also have some plants in soil, or what ever your used to growing in.

water temps are exactly why I suggested igloo coolers.
Temps good from 60-70F , anything higher than 70 and bad things can happen.

my first grow was dwc and water/room temps were crazy. I'm talking over 100 in the room and since the homer buckets I used weren't even lightproof I have no idea how I even made it thru that grow.
The strange thing is after getting a grasp on room and water temps I can't seem to get the size buds I had then. You could def tell they had been thru some shit from heat to over fertilizing . I do remember using h202 a lot and I ran co2. Probably two of the things that saved my ass.
Came out pretty decent.
I haven't seen the thread in awhile but someone on this forum was doing things with crew water jugs, the 5 gallon round ones.
Gonna give that a shot myself in a rdwc type setup where it recirculates to a bigger cooler.
Its just simple to control temps like that. toss in a chunk of ice and you're good for days IF there isn't a water pump running 24/7 somewhere in the system.
I cycle any pumps I have in a system. Depending on the application as to what on/off cycle, but a pump running all the time will heat things up.

Get yourself some Bennies (beneficial bacteria) I use aquarium type, "the slime" is our biggest enemy in DWC... Bennies prevent this. ..a must imo
My veg tent has 12 baby's in 1 tub
Flower tent has 3 in 1 tub, from week 1 to week 6 then moved onto singles... they're not giants lol
