Lol 32 you must have low grade kush or getting hustled
Ya, ok. We get 32/lb on 5 packs all day long for 1st class Bubba. I don't appreciate you calling me a sucker. If you take a look at my thread you'll see we are no-nonsense. Post your op, big man. If you're saying you're getting 42 from so cal dispensaries, you sir are a liar. We have been at this for many years. I have watched the prices fall for the past 10 or so. Any sort of long term deal with any dispensary will be between 3 and 35. We go 32 for a 5 pack and 35 for singles. You may also think...think about the title of this thread and who is watching. If you are truly in business here (which I doubt) do you really want to keep on arguing that you're getting MORE for your elbows? Do you really want to encourage more people to come out here? If you all come out here and think you're gonna get over 35 for anything, you're gonna be hating life. First off, you won't get ANYTHING from ANYONE without some contacts. Anyone who thinks they're gonna just set up shop and start slinging 5 packs is in for a rude awakening. Before you try it, I would say take a tour of the various dispensaries and ask each one if they are accepting new vendors. The answer will be 95% NO. And the 5% yes will want to pay you $1500 for the best you can grow. Unless you're established here, or willing to undercut everyone (which ain't gonna make you any friends), you're not going to make it.

You're legally allowed by state not fed to grow 12 plant per rec. 6 flowering and 6 vegging. You can grow 12 more if you collect another mmj patients doctor reccomendation. Which is just pretty much just saying you're his caregiver and you're supplying him with his medication. So to fill a warehouse you got to collect quite a grip.
that whole 12 plant thing isn't right. it depends on what your doctor says you need. If your scrip says you need to grow 90 plants in 100sq feet, the police won't mess with you. The feds can shut you down but they have their hands full. There are a lot of growers in cali. They couldn't find em all if they tried. The market is more saturated than years passed, but you can still make a good paycheck. There is still demand for high quality here. Clubs can't keep stock on their shelves.

$1,500 is the price that many dispensaries will try and pay for meds from new vendors. This is how many of them take advantage of new grow ops entering the market. We are not a new vendor, and fortunately do not need to go out and knock on doors. . When we have overflow, we get 32/lb for a 5 pack. We have good relationships with several dispensaries as well as with several med and commercial grow ops. The going rate right now for 5 lbs at a time is $3,000-3,500 per lb. this would be for top shelf, totally legal with both parties having all necessary paperwork, IRS 1099 forms...the whole deal. If someone wants just one lb it would be a bit more. Just one year ago you could add $500/lb to that figure. 5 years ago there were some collective grow ops getting $6,400/lb on 5 packs! Ah, the good ol days.

The black market still sees $4,000+ per Lb here and there. The prices I quote are for long term relationships with comitments by both parties. We could shop around on each sale and squeeze a few more bucks out of each deal. However, we've developed long term relationships in a legal framework that can be counted on. In all honesty, we are finding that our collective members can now consume most of the meds produced. We rarely have to unload overage to other collectives. This is the prefered way to go. Form a legal collective association, and just grow for your members. This keeps the end user cost of medication very low for the members, and fits both the letter and spirit of the law.

We believe the prices are stabilizing. It costs X amount per lb to actually grow the shit. But, to start a new op here in California will require some financial staying power. It just takes time to develope the right relationships and/or amass a patient base.

I am not rying to discourage new ops. Just be prepared for a long uphill battle. And, if you're not growing true top shelf, don't even bother.

I have spoken to a dispensary regarding getting rid of surplus. I was given a quote higher than 15, but lower than 3. Guaranteed. ANY time. But I have to agree to deal with them exclusively.

im currently in the process of going to CA to grow medical marijuana legally. i already build my corporation & all i need is a warehouse. im looking in south LA county. im having a few problems with finding a location. i've been only able to get a hold of real estate brokers. they seem to be too nosy & ask too many question. does any one know where i might find a warehouse for rent by owner. i dont wanna deal with real estate brokers.

craigslist.org brother... hope you find what you are looking for.. also warehouses that have been turned to apartments work great also!

All of the prices listed here are way above what have been going around in Northern Cal, plus I really doubt you have any clue of the Ca market if you think the drought comes in November. Your Dr is also just a recommendation and does not give you any rights for certain amounts. Each county has there own limits and laws regarding number of plants or size of rooms allowed per script. Humboldt County is a 10x10 area per script and the county allows multiple scripts per location. Each city in the county also has separate rules as well, so if you live in a city limits check your added laws. I know in Humboldt, certain cities do not allow multiple scripts at the same location so you have to be in county limits and not within the city to do co-ops.

I stick to only selling to infants and senior citizens, they are both a great score. One customer pays in titty milk while the other shares their oxygen when I need it.
Fresh air to breath and titties to suck on, man this is the life! LANSD!

True Humboldt. Laws vary with location. Have the local PD or better yet, the DA's office come through and inspect. They'll let you know if you aren't up to legal standards in your locale. I did this and it's been beautiful.

I never said the doctor gives you the ammount. Its state laws. And there always is a drought in mid november. Lol how you going to tell me? You think I just said to myself one day "I think this is what I'm going to do?"

The laws very from county to county.
In Santa Cruz, Shasta, Humboldt, and a few other counties, the limit is 99 plants in a 10x10 area, San Francisco is about to join that list as well. Oakland and the rest of Alameda has a 72 plant limit... etc. Drought in November? Are you serious? Sucks that where you live there's a drought a month after harvest season.
Bubba kush is low grade? What? It won the 2009 cannabis cup so... You're making crazy remarks dude. OG kush is just a dumb name. I was growing purple maroc, and when dumbasses saw my bud they just assumed it was GDP, so I sold it to them as so. Hell, if you want to pay more money for a dumbass name go ahead.

cc... lol I been several times to amsterdam for it. Not impressed. And ogs just a name? How you think it got its reputation? Whatever this is getting pointless

OG is most definitely just a name now. Same with GDP or really most of the strains out there that people claim are amazing.
Take Oakland for example. Ever since Sourgrapes was created in Oaksterdam, everyone... and I mean EVERYONE says that they are growing and selling sourgrapes. When in reality, about 10% of them are, and the others are just growing other really chronic weed. Either way they still supply chronic purples so I don't care too much, but judging a strain strictly by name is stupid.
I'm not saying that OG is bammer by any means, it's fucking sick, but don't say dumb shit like Bubba kush is low grade. That bubblegum taste and high is awesome. Also, there are other kush strains that have higher THC % than OG. Judge a plant by its smoke, not its name.

Not pre-98 bubba!
Thank You. Anyone who would call Bubba "low grade" is making a blanket statement. Some Buibba is low grade. Some OG is low grade. Some Bubba is high grade. Some OG is high. It just depends on the pheno. Anyone who doesn't realize this is just a noobster. The grower I got my Bubba from went through hundreds of plants to settle on this one. We also have a kick ass OG, but I don't grow it right now because it likes to get powdery mildew in the winter time. We'll roll it into the grow next month.

The only way to get a really great pheno that is going to get the attention of a dispensary buyer is to go through hundreds and thousands of plants over a period of years. Sure, you may get lucky. But, doubtful. Remember, if you can order a seed and grow it out, so can anyone else with a credit card and grow room. This will not get your foot in the door of the dispensary. There are loads of used grow lights for sale in California from people who thought it was that simple. Ordering a seed and growing it may work in Chicago, but out here you need to set yourself apart. Besides spending years finding that perfect strain, there are other ways to break into the market here. How good are you at concentrates?
