hello, here is my girl but i'm not sure what's going on.

she's growing well enough, she's a sativa dominant hybrid and she gets lots of good light at the 18/6 timing.

fresh potting soil, started in soil. took about a week to sprout.

any ideas? i've scoured around and couldn't find something that would explain what is going on here. anyone else have something like this happen for them?

did you plant directly into dirt or did you germ the seed first...Did you possibly damage the tap root??? what type of light are you giving it and how close is it..

looks like a bit of nute burn, i've done this to a few of my babys in the past. try not to over care for it and it should come back looking good

OMG, growing in mud! back off the watering and check your ph. the ph will malform your leaves bigtime, but so will overwatering, your soil looks like its soaked.

okay...

she's in dirt from seed, i've toned down the watering (i will admit she was a bit soggy.) i haven't tested the PH and i haven't used any nutes so far. (i don't have a test kit, i'll see about grabbing one as soon as i can)

the light is a pair of "daylight" CFLs rated to be about 3000 lumens at 46 watts apiece. an the lights are about 5-6 inches from the plant.) temperature is about 76f fairly constant

#1 thing you need to do at this point is get your watering down. If you can't properly water the soil, and allow it to dry, you're going to have many problems. So number one (IN MY NEWB OPINION) is to figure out what your water is(PH, PPM), and learn to saturate the soil, but not SOAK. Allow it to almost FULLY dry again before watering. I am a newb, yes, and I have learned this the hard way.
KEEP IT SIMPLE! It is so easy to over care for our beloved Mary Jane. Especially when she is so tiny and fragile, we feel we need to do extra work to take good care of her. However she has been thriving for thousands of years, left out in the wilderness. Ravaged by winds and rains, floods and droughts.
GOOD LUCK!!!!! and happy growing!

There is A lot of info on this site about all kinds of stuff including lighting and how much is needed. A complete grow bible.

how is the previous post relevant? Not trying to bag on your attempt to help this guy. But I don't think that light spectrum has much to do with his problems...
