Washington DC balcony grow

growing a few plants on my patio in Washington DC. I'm about 5 floors up and the plants get direct sun all day. That being said, I live right next to a shopping center and there is a lot residual light from street lights/signs/etc. I've only done indoor grow before so I don't know how this will affect flowering, any tips?

I germed at the start of March and kept them under CFL until last week when I finally moved them outside. I know that residual light will fuck up the flowering cycle but I can't necessarily move them back into my apartment due to smell. Any suggestions would help.

Instead of moving them around, why not just get a bit of chicken wire or a cage of some kind and wrap a blanket around it? Bend it into a dome or whatever shape, then set over the top of your plants to provide darkness!
