I have that movie tucked away in my library.

Unfortunately my terabyte drive just conked out on me yesterday so my bittorrent client is very overfull.

Maybe if I get my FTP server set up and a newer faster Internet service(25mb/s) I will post it for you-all.

Dear friend ...
Here at RIU ... we deal in Past ... Present ... and Future .... at the same time.
But most of all ... we love instant gratification.

Past? Future? What are these things?

I can only download as fast as my connection allows. My connection cannot retrieve nor extrapolate; where limits demand, I am stuck in the middle.

This infinitesimally thin slice of now.

I try to get my media before it get made ... and starts trickling down ...
So that is kinda like a delivery from the future ...

Your internet speeds are capped ... You can bypass this.
Besides ... you run servers ... so you know how that works.
Anything under 300 kBps in transfer is very slow.
(how fast is your FTP downstream)
No philosophy here ... just tech.

:)

I run a 18mb/s in my home network. For uploads my ISP locks me at 250kb/s, and downloads at 3.8mb/s(even though I pay for 5mb/s).

FTP's are easy enough to set up, I just don't want to dedicate any of my bandwidth to something as grandiose as free access to my 'filing system'.

No need to be touchy Crypt, I was just playing. Fairly infantile concepts, however extreme its consequences it may present. I don't fancy myself any more clever than more than enough people. Plus were on the internet where a certain type of person/s congregate, how could I match up?

Now you're insinuating that I'm touchy. :) Oh we'll be good friends you and I. Like Puffer.

ELLis ... U got under 20 posts and I already like YOU !
P.s ... U never wanna share a private FTP on a public board ...

;)

Don't wanna leave bread crumbs to your door !
Any VPN's or Proxies would slow it right down ...

Thats a very good point Puffer.

But I use tor, behind a VPN, behind a wireless router at least half-mile away, behind a spoofed mac address, on a hidden machine, on a hidden OS, and a pgp disk encryption. I am all good for my privileged communique.
