One thing is if you are combusting anything, you aren't properly vaping. The hot stream of air in most modern vapes passes over the vegetative matter, and heats it up. Once said material has reached the temp needed, the chemicals in the material begin to volatize, and become vapor. Many on the market do not evenly or efficiently heat the plant material. CBN and CBD volatize at lower temps that THC. This is why most like the volcano. It pumps a lot of well heated air through a large amount of material, via a large surface area. It is efficient for the scale it works on.

Your fat theory is good, but I THINK ( :; ) wrong. More along the lines of innefficient heating and volatization of THC.

agreed, but wouldnt it be logical to consider that the thc with the smoke would go through a different filtration system in your body? while the thc alone would just stay in the body untill bonding to something? like fat? or going strait to the waste area (urin)? because your body gets rid of the toxins that arent in the body normaly first. and since thc is a canabanoid wouldnt it surpass the toxin filtration and head strait to the fat and urin? making the thc going through more of your bodys filters stay in your system longer, giving you lasting effects?

im just thinkin out loud here... welll typing...

All I know is that I love hearing those sweet sounding bubbles when hitting the bong :-P It just makes me happier for some reason.

Personally bubblers are my favourite. I like bongs as well. But I cant do dry pipes, the hurt my throat too much. Ice catchers are nice too:weed:

Don't get me wrong, my favorite piece is my We The People glass on glass udder bubbler. Like hitting air. Sweet sweet air. But it's not your typical design. I have noticed the same amount ingested via pipe or tube or udder and especialy my Erbo produces different effects.
From most>least efficient : Erbo, udder, pipe, tube
Granted that is anecdote.

The two I like best are both waterpipes. They also both work different than average "downstem>water>chamber>lung" waterpipes.

The udder has a bowl on it with three small holes whch sends the streams slamming into a wall of glass two inches away before turning a corner to break into four downstems, each with three cuts for percolation ( which, by the way, is a weird term for those). The dry area the smoke passes through gets filthy, and the water goes greenish yellow not brown or black. It is unlike anything I've seen in 20+ years of making and using bongs. I was undefeated for 64 weeks straight in highschool during our weekly bong-off. I created some legends amongst my alumni LOL.

The Erbo uses a battery powered fan blade to pull the smoke into it. But it sits in a teaspoon of water. This "whips" the smoke and water into a spinning froth. It becomes like buttermilk. The smoke spins out of the froth and around the chamber, exiting through a 6" spout. I put my mouth, or nose 2" away and inhale. The chamber dome gets filthy as does the water. The dome goes orange. I can take .25 gram up my nose and hold it in until nothing is left without a tinge of discomfort. Follow with the other nostril and become "the one" for a few hours. I just wish they were made better. Though mine has not broken, the acrylic dome has cracked and needed repair. I know there are replacement parts available but perhaps they could make a higher quality unit for more experienced users.

It's made by a guy out of Delaware who goes by " we the people ". It's a hand sized bubbler. I was given it for my birthday and have no idea where it came from. The guy also makes a similar ash catcher as well as a spiral percolator one he sells under his own name. Someone told me he does contract work for Roor. Online I researched and people called his work sloppy but I find it anything but. I'll get pics up.

lol just tried vape thru a bong..... u need a lot of smoke but .. its cool n definate the safest of the safest on smokin compressed amounts of smoke. itsa like a ghetto volcano but beter.....no offence to volcano users n to those ppl who have a difference in my opinion

I love my vaporizer. Deluxe Daddy is great. I like volcanoes, but with the Vapor Daddy style vaporizers you always get fresh hoots.

yes its more purer . its like vaporizer goin thru a bong then u smoke that compressed vape smoke n then compare that toke to a normal bong hit

huh? im pretty fucked up myself ... its more pure because ,are u reading are u reading, vapes only burn thc at a lower temperature, before the leaves n buds turn into ash (leaves , stems n buds are the added smoke in the bong u see that makes it milky white)

No one says THC sticks to water. Bongs are actually the worst way of smoking pot because it doesnt actually filter out anything but ash. The smoke comes through the water in bubbles, it doesnt get completely diffused.

Bongs are worse because they actually can cause pneumonia later in life, its the extra moisture in the smoke thats bad for your lungs. And I dont know anyone who keeps their bongs clean all the time. Iv smoked out of some pretty dirty bongs :lol:

OK back to the point, To use a bong, you need a flame, and butane is another thing that is horrible for your lungs. But thats not the point.

A Bic lighters flame burns at 1900*Celsius that far exceeds the required temps to ideally burn THC. So your actually burning and torching the THC and not getting smoke that is as pure. Your getting thick, dirty smoke that gives you a head rush and gets you shwacked.

Vaporizors are able to set a specific temp that burns the THC cleanly without burning the plant material and other crap that causes Tar.

The vapor from vaporizers is way, way, way more pure in THC than a bong hoot any day. The simplest way to prove this is to look at bong resin, and to look at vaporizer resin.

Bong resin, even in bowls, is dirty, black, full of tar and soot from the butane.

Vaporizers use no flame, the resin isnt even resin, they secrete pure golden honey oil...... :weed:


Im not dissing bongs, I still love a good bong hoot, but vaporizing is definitely my favorite method of blazing. Even the high is so much cleaner, you dont feel tired and sluggish. You just feel the pure High from the sweet ganga.

I think anyone who vaporizes would agree. :-P

OK OK OK ... ive been convinced.... after an hour or so of googleing............ and BC latest thread......................... So what vaps would you recommend for a guy who has been someing bongs RELIGOUSLY for 15yrs..... if it dosent give me the hit a bong dose ill be back on here bitchin! lol
